Considering the fact that they do what they are supposed to do, generate a (very) acceptable sound on a bass, combined with flawless looks, I wonder who is the manufacturer.
Workmanship is good, with rather nice ball- and end-silks.
The only thing I noticed different with regard to branded strings (I know) is that they feel rather textured, not so very smooth indeed, causing more string noise when sliding than I'm used to. And the overall glare or visual brightness varies from string to string. Sound however is ok-balanced.
They worked in rather quickly and stay in tune as I expect them to stay. The B-string behaves allright, no sloppy buzzing but also not the punch from a let's say a D'Addario steel.
The set is good enough to keep as spares in the bag at all times. And they certainly sounded a lot better than the factory applied crappy strings they replaced in the first place...
