Stroeve snaren, voelen als schuurpapier

Ik gebruik al een tijd de HB Valuestrings. Deze vind ik prima.
Nu zag ik de HB High Quality Strings. Duurder dan de Valuestrings dus ik verwacht nog betere snare. Helaas vind ik ze gewoon slecht. Ze voelen erg stroef, als schuurpapier. De klank is ok, niet bijzonder en zeker niet beter dan de HB Valuestrings. Ik heb 4 setjes gekocht. Spijt van! Deze snaren koop ik niet weer.

At 1/3rd of the price of my regular strings I had to try...
And these strings are disappointing for sure.
Out of the pack they look darker than my old strings which have been on my bass for over 3 months... but they differ from eachother within the same set even.
The B and E were darker colored than the rest of the set.
After I put them on my bass I noticed they have a fairly high tension, that's a good thing for me but when playing the B and E sounded dead from the start and the strings are very rough feeling.

I'll stick to my DR lo-riders.

i switch the elixir strings for harley benton strings and it doesn't works for me, maybe if we compare harley benton strings with others cheaps strings harley benton wins but if we compare vs expensive strings like elixir definately elixir wins.

The harley benton loose the brigth in 1 one week , i use almost every day my bass.

Too short, don't fit

The 4-string version sounded OK on my basses strung through the bridge. But through the body of my G&L L2500 Tribute, I ran into two problems:
1) The B-string 's just too short. The part where the .130 gauge starts didn't make it to the nut, making an open B rattle.
2) The ball ends of the other 4 didn't fit into the ferrules. Never seen that before.
