Careful emulations of the legendary tube compressors 175B and 176, developed in the early 1960s by Bill Putnam Sr.
Sonically flexible and with a rich tube character, both compressors can be applied to a wide range of audio signals such as drums, vocals, guitars and keyboards
UA 175B has a fixed ratio of 12:1 while the 176 offers switchable ratios of 2:1, 4:1, 8:1 and 12:1.
Exact reproduction of the complete signal path with tubes and transformers as well as the control elements
Compared to hardware, it offers extended possibilities with parallel compression, sidechain filter and adjustable headroom.
VU-meter displays either input or output level as well as level reduction
Numerous artist presets
