Well, I guess "for this money" you hear is awful lot in reviews. This item works, and it is not expensive. But it is a living nightmare to solder tiny cable wires to it, because is a cheap galvanized layer on it, and one has to rape it with a the soldering gun in order to attach the wire to it. And it melts, which makes is de-centered and/or destroys the insulation. If you want to use it, buy at lest 20% more, to overcome soldering destruction.
So, FOR THE SAME MONEY, Amphenol makes much better products, and I will stick to those in the future.

I can't complain, no loose contacts or anything,
it gets the job done at a great price.
Its diameter is suitable for most cables, maybe it won't fit a guitar cable, but most RCA cables are way thinner than that, so you're good to go.
