Designed for hands-free control

The TC Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme is entirely controlled by foot, allowing singers and musicians to stay fully engaged with their performance. Featuring ten footswitches, nine touch-sensitive pads, and a high-visibility LCD display, the layout is designed to assist on-the-fly effect switching without causing any distraction. The LoopAssist function facilitates multi-layered loops by precisely quantising the timing, while the three dedicated control layers (Vocal, Guitar, and Looper) make it easy to switch between different processing modes. The stereo vocal and guitar outputs allow independent routing to PA systems and guitar amps, while MIDI seamlessly synchronises with external gear. The USB audio recording function enables high-resolution, direct-to-drive recordings of live performances - perfect for capturing every detail of a show.

At the heart of the TC Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme is its powerful looping engine, capable of storing and recalling entire song structures. Aangeschaft als live oplossing - gitaar en vocalenprocessor in één keer. Het "selling point" van dit apparaat is de vocalenprocessing met automatische (op gitaar-input gebaseerde) harmonieën en speciale effecten (o.a. vocoder, talkbox), dat doet het erg goed, is het prijskaartje zeker waard. Gitarenprocessor is OK, geschikt voor alle 'reguliere' toepassingen, maar niet speciaal. Gelukkig is er een gitaar- through output zodat een eigen effects-setup gebruikt kan worden.

Geprogrammeerde patches zijn perfect bedienbaar met custom toewijzing van footswitches.

Loopstation is ook prima in orde. Hoewel er uitgebreidere loopstations op de markt zijn, is deze ook multitrack met voldoende opties.

Geluid is prima maar wel wat meer ruis dan in mijn andere setup dwz interferentie in een akoestisch element wat ik wel bij de (kunststof behuizing) VL3X krijg maar niet in mijn multieffectenbak met stalen behuizing. Getest met drie verschillende akoestische gitaren... leg het maar uit. Dat is wel jammer maar deze interferentie is niet van dien aard dat het een spelbreker is en is bij elektrische gitaarinput niet aanwezig.

Al met al, gaaf apparaat, gaaf in studio en ook zeer bruikbaar op podium.

Lang nagedacht of ik voor de nieuwe boss (rc600 /505 mkii) zou gaan of voor de tc helicon. Geen dag spijt vocal effects zijn echt niet normaal zo goed. Guitar effects ruim voldoende. En drie kanalen looper met 50 geheugen banken echt meer dan genoeg. Extra is de automatisering die je in kan programmeren. Met de nieuwe firmware kun je zowel backing track als looper files inlezen. Echt een aanrader.

De VKX3 klinkt erg goed en is over het algemeen makkelijk in gebruik. Echter je moet er wel even tijd voor vrij maken om hem onder controle te krijgen. Voorgeprogameerde sounds zijn aanwezig maar het beste is om je eigen sound te maken war erg makkelijk gaat

Onzettend blij met dit speelgoed!

Dit is mijn eerste pedal ooit en ik ben er ontzettend blij mee. Het eerste begin is altijd moeilijk en dus is het belangrijk om veel tijd te besteden aan het uitvogelen van deze schat, maar het is zeker de moeite waard, ik heb er zoveel plezier van! Goed om te weten is wel dat de looper alleen 3 tracks heeft (a/b/c) en b & c kunnen niet samen aan. Overdubben kan natuurlijk oneindig. Last but not least is er maar plaats voor één mic en één instrument. Als dat is wat je zoekt, top!
