This is the first time I bought a guitar online. (I normally want to try it and feel a guitar in my hands…).
I heard so many different things about Taylor guitars … some people loved them, others hate them.
Well after receiving mine, and based on my personal preference as an amateur musician, I really love this guitar.
It came perfect right out of the box. The intonation was impeccable… no adjustments or set up needed. The playability of the nek and the perfect action makes this guitar absolutely fun and a joy to play. (Matter of fact I play a lot more now since I love this guitar so much).
The sound it’s very well balanced. Not too sparkly but really balanced and perfect for small gigs .
If you play in a band tho, it doesn’t cut through the mix as much as you would expect with a spruce top. However I don’t care and I really prefer the balanced and softer sound of this guitar to the more brighter sounding ones.
If played with no amplification it doesn’t have a super strong volume … so when used fully acoustic it’s not as powerful or loud as other cheaper guitars I own…
I find this guitar has a very beautiful presentation, a romantic look and it’s perfect for more intimate / small gigs …
For a band performance I would rather go for a spruce top model tho. Thanks Taylor and thanks Thomann… the delivery was also perfect . You guys are very trustworthy. Been a client for years and always very happy with your service
