Sequential Pro 3

This (mono) synth is incredibly feature-packed; it's insane what you can do with it. It feels like a modular synth! And the sound quality is outstanding. The three gorgeous filter options (Prophet-like, Moog-like, and Obie-like) are what truly make this synth so enjoyable to tweak. Not to mention the brilliant, huge filter cutoff knob.

I've been using it for four months now and feel like I've only just scratched the surface of its options and sounds. It can produce otherworldly, modern, classic, and so much more.

I 'm glad I persevered to get a properly functioning unit. The first two units I received had issues like freak distortion and crackles. This is a known problem (for a limited batch of serial numbers) that Sequential has acknowledged. So be sure to pay attention and test your machine upon delivery. Fortunately, after consultation with Sequential and Thomann, I finally obtained a perfectly working unit. This speaks volumes about the love I have for this device (and Sequential).
