The best feature is that you can hold a note, switch patches, and the note you held is still sounds with the original settings.
It also has a lot of built-in insert effects that can shape the sound drastically beyond what the original synth could.
If you're looking for a synth to pad out your music with an 80's shimmer, for some sharp brasses, and/or for a slightly more well behaved take on those 80's analog Roland sounds, this is a great choice.
It also does a pretty good hoover (not as overwhelming as the Alpha Juno, but a bit more of a well behaved, elegant take on the sound), and goes well with 90's dance music overall too.
