The raving reviews on youtube made me buy this synth. As soon as I had it at home, I was most pleased with the looks. Built heavy weight like a tank. It took a while to figure out (thanks to Pittsburgh Support who were exteremly helpful) that the usual GATE IN found on the (semi) modulars is not present here, however, the ADSR IN must be used instead! Well, that solved the problem because I do not intend to use MIDI but rather the usual modular CV/GATE configuration. The keys respond quite well, although I am not a keyboardist. The fact that the patch points are on the far side, and not on the near side, I like a lot because the patch cables won't stand in the way and so the knobs are freely accessible. I recommend to test that 24HP slot with the module(s) that you want because in some cases some kind of interference may be encountered depending on how it's patched, especially when it ouputs AUDIO that you want to patch into the Taiga. All in all, a mysterious synth with unusual oscillators and filters, experimental so to speak.
