If you need to clamp a legless hi hat stand to your bassdrum then this does the job perfectly. Very strong clamp mechanism so you know its never going to come loose or slip off. Design makes it versatile in getting the hibhat in the position you need.

Only down side i would say is the price. But its a quality clamp for the price. Just paying for hardware comes with the territory as a drummer and looking for niche hardware. Had i thought about it at the time i might have got a cable hi hat stand instead but with my setup now that probably wouldnt have worked whereas this fits perfectly.

This is one of my absolute favorite products ever! if you want your hi hat stand close and you use 2 bassdrums, then you need to get this!
Also pearls products are always brilliant

I bought the Hi-Hat Holder since I play a double bass drum kit and felt that the hi-hat was too far away from the center of the kit. Although the Pearl product has a higher price than various competitors' products, but this price pays off in the usual high quality of Pearl hardware. The holder is easy to handle and very robust. It's in use for several months now and still sits as firmly as in the beginning without me having to retighten it again manually. It's also nice that a rubber protects the rim of the bass drum from scratches and dents. I can recommend this product for all drummers with a two bass drum setup.
