Moeck 4205 Rottenburgh Soprano

This recorder is so easy to play and the sound is beautiful. Getting the lowest notes and highes notes... it takes little effort.
Great tuning of the instrument. I love it.
The wood was pretty dry, I had to oil it a few times in the beginning. Now the sound quality is amazing and a few months later, I didn't need to oil it again.
I love the 'loudness' of the flute compared to softer woods. An absolute solo-instrument, and also suitable for ensembles, if you know how to controle the volume of the beautiful clear voice of the flute.

To be honest, the first month I was really dissapointed in de sound of this recorder. Knowing that this could change during break-in time, I had to be patient. It turned out that in the second month the sound and tuning already improved. In the third month the reward came! So, if you are a bit dissapointed in the first weeks/month, just know its worth waiting for. Over time, you'll be suprised by the good quality of this recorder.
