Millenium GS-2001 E

Preamble: I already own the same model from like a year or so ago. Quality was outstanding and the reviews were a testimony of that.

Unfortunately quality of materials and assemblage of this new unit got a huge nosedive.

Everything is of poorer quality, plastic parts are flimsy

in particular:
- the metal arms of the central joint are made of poor, thin, stamped (painted) metal instead of the sturdy anodized one shown in the product pic.
also, an ugly sorta wing design with a round central part, aesthetically not very compelling

- the rubber feet are of very poor quality
- the foam on the holding arms is very cheap and gives in a lot when touched
- the end caps are again very low quality plastic
- Stability is horrid, the top cap is so thin that doesn't hold it in place

If you manage to get an old production run, then it would be a 5/5.
