Overall: Do not settle for anything cheaper than this guitar.
Packaging: arrived in a double package, surrounded with plastic bags stuffed with air, therefore could withstand even a nuclear attack.
Appearance: looks cool: spotless everywhere. Paint perfect, usage or grease is not visible.
Compared with others: I have seen and compared many guitars, and at first I made the huge mistake to order another brand from amazon (still leaning against the wall).
Price: Martin allows people to have the privilege to get a pro guitar for basically less than half of the price it is worth. You will not get this quality for this price.
-Sound: when it comes to strumming, oh, this guitar has a very serious sound at night I only do fingerpicking, albeit the walls are thick enough.
-Other: As I am willing to spend, therefore the money is not an issue at selection, I was thinking about Gibson,( I am a beginner player, and that would be considered abuse if a beginner plays on a Gibson) but I think it is overpriced, Taylor seems o.k but I think this guitar for this much simply an unbeatable offer.
Future: My next guitar will come after around three years of practice and I am already checking between Martin, Taylor, or Gibson.
-Gibson; if you have one, you never have to "upgrade", and it will be a Gibson till you die.
-Taylor saw some nice pieces, some quality ones. "50th anniversary" that I like most and seems they sell for a reasonable price.
-Martin: it might be possible that I will be faithful to this brand as they did let me have one, for this price, and never forget that Martin made the best guitars, not the best from Martin, but according to experts the best guitars Verdict: Don't hesitate.
