Very sturdy, high quality, easy to assemble

Out of the box, the K&M 12196 is very easy to assemble, since all necessary hardware and tools are provided. It consists of only three major parts, so assembly is done in five minutes. The clamp supports a wide range of table thicknesses, and is super sturdy once mounted. The angle and height adjustments are easily accessible and adjustable over a wide range. Once locked, the mount is super sturdy. A few provided self-sticking foam pads can be used to provide customized protection for the notebook from scratches or impacts on the stand. Together with the (padded) adjustable stoppers the notebook sits firmly in place, while sockets on all sides of the device (for audio equipment, etc) remain accessible.
