I play on my vision solo strings and this rosin produces nice warm tone on them. I hated my evah pirazzi gold rosin (was a big disappointment), its been a while since I use Kaplan product but this is a good one. Comes in a little case which is unique.

Applying rosin is also a skill required so I don't get the scratching part :)
some complaint that it gets dusty - so does every rosin but you just don't see it as they don't have a case! It also protects your rosin to really stay in place so in case you drop it, it will never break into pieces which is a common problem.

Good Rosin but dusty

have used this Rosin a few times. Little box is good idea, to protect the Rosin block. great quality, but a bit dusty over time, on the fiddle and residue on strings. But quick wipe and its gone. Produces good sound

Comes in the little box, which is awkward to use as depending on how you use it, the box might scratch the bow hairs and cause damage.
Great that you can turn around the rosin, for equal usage.
