The Uno Synth Pro X is a rather joyful little synth. Perfect for your desktop, to play on your lap and to take with you on your travels.
It's a lot of synth for its size, with its 3 morfing Oscs, Noise, Sync, FM, 2 great sounding filters (that can go from smooth to nasty), 3 loopable Envelopes, 2 multi wave LFOs, a 64 step sequencer with step locks that is very easy to use, arp, 3 effects and a TB 303 style add on that changes the character of the envelopes and filter.
Luke I said, it's a lot of synth.
Adding to this, the fact that you can save presets and sequences (together or in isolation), makes it a formidable contender for best small size monosynth in my book.
It can be played in paraphonic mode (3 voices) mono or legato and the Oscs can be played freely for some cool droning.
The one octave litte keyboard is useful to write sequences and sketch ideas but the synth is better paired up with a midi keyboard for actual playing.
As for the effects (delay, reverb and chorus) they are nice to have although the delay won't feedback enough. You can also change them in both the synth and the app.
CV ins and outs to integrate the X with other gear, Midi and usb are all present.
In my specific case, I wanted a monosynth to sequence and make some weird sounds with. And for that end it's hard to beat it. Sure, there are a lot of great affordable monos out there, but how many offer the same specs at this price?
