Unbeatable at this price

These work just as well as the Schaller version but at a fraction of the price. Also they are completely compattible, so if your stap(s) are already equiped with straplocks and you only need a set of pins for that new guitar, you can spend twice a much for a set of Schaller pins only, or get this and keep the locks in your drawer as spare like I do.

Disappointing quality

Judging by the reviews I thought I couldn’t go wrong with this set. However I was quite disappointed by the quality… The pins on both locks could not be pulled back right out of the package, they were both somehow stuck inside the u-shaped lock, I had to use pliers to get them to move… After I got them to move one lock worked as it should but on the other one the pin didn’t automatically lower back and had to be pushed down to get the lock to actually lock… Even after a few movements it still doesn’t work quite as it should (pulling back should be easy and it should lower back automatically and easily). Also the thread of the screws was not the same as the ones on my guitar (ESP) but this of course is dependent on the brand of your guitar. I won’t be ordering these again and I would also advise others to get the original Schaller S-locks instead (of which these are actually a cheap copy). If you order these you might be getting functioning locks if you’re lucky I guess, but it is not at all a given as my experience clearly proves.

Ik gebruik deze op een Harley Benton SC 450 plus omdat de normale straplocks niet heel super waren. Dat komt vooral vanwege het gewicht van de gitaar, waardoor de strap makkelijk af kan glijden.

één strap kan moeiteloos het gewicht van de hele gitaar dragen en ik weet 100% zeker dat hij nooit loskomt, daarom zou ik het iedereen aanbevelen.
