Harley Benton R-456FR BK Progressive Series

This is the second time that i have received this guitar. I thought long and hard about buying this guitar, but seeing such great reviews here and on YouTube i wanted to check it out.

The pros: It looks cool, it feels nice, the action is great and the sound is adequate enough for me....

... that is to say: IF the bloody thing can be made to stay in tune for more than just 1 second. Because to be honest: i don't know why people are so wild about this thing. Since having received it i am only trying to tune it constantly. Like i said, this is the second time i received this as i had to send the first one back for the same problem: from the third fret onward the neck is OUT of tune for about 35%.

I have played for about 20 years with various FR guitars and none come near this amount of suck. I am extremely disappointed that the famed German grüntlichkeit has failed in the one area it needs to perform without fail: keeping the tune. If 2 guitars share this flaw i can not find any redeeming quality and i tried so very hard because of the above mentioned pros. I really want to like this guitar. Needless to say that i will return this one for a refund.
