Criminally good

I'm Dutch and a cheapskate, but boy oh boy, this pedal is just amazing for any amount! I have 3 electric guitars, a strat, a p90 LP-like and a PRS SE hollowbody with humbuckers. The Dr D sounds good with all of them, but with my 70s Ibanez silver series strat, my Fender SF twin reverb with the verb turned up nicely, the sound is out of this world. Mild drive to medium drive (with p90/buckers), very transparent, and just adding stuff without taking tone away. And very very quiet noise-wise. Don't hesitate, get it while you can!

Quite surprising

I tested some other Ministomp pedals (fuzz) and they were rather mediocre. But this one is outstanding! A really great overdrive, and very versatile too - thx to the voice control, you can use it on a clean or overdriven amp with equally great tones. I only have one small grief with it: no visible markers on the pots, so you can't see your settings - I'll add some white tippex markers.

Dark sounding and a lot of gain

I bought this in hopes that it would give me a subtle overdrive so that I can color the tone without adding much of an actual overdrive where it is not needed. This pedal has A LOT of gain. A lot more than I expected, even at minimum gain.
The sound itself is pretty good and usable if you like high gain stuff. I can't comment if it sounds like an actual Dumble, having never played one myself, but I do have some Dumble emulating pedals. This one has a different character than for example NUX Steel Singer which I do think is a little bit better than this one, because of the overdrive range.
The sound is also very bass heavy and quite dark. I am playing mostly strats with Vintage pickups and even those sound quite dark and give me TONS of bass with this pedal. If you tame it with an EQ, and work with the volume knobs on the guitar, this one can deliver some good tones.
I hate the phrase, but for the money it is fine.

Great pedal

I use od in three scenarios: adding small amount of dirty to clean channel to play arpeggios, increasing od to play smooth lines, and boosting the dirty channel to get metal tones. This one nails all of them. It is well made. I also liked the box, it has magnets to keep it close, well done HB!
Don't wait until jhs makes video about it, got it while it's cheap...
