Harley Benton GPA-100

I bought this power amp as a backup for my bass amp. I have tried it at home and it works just fine for bass guitar as long as you have a pre amp or a mixer before it. I can't believe how solid it sounds. It also feels good to know that there is a 3 year warrantee and a 30 days try out period. Sometimes I have gigs by myself with backing tracks (full band) where I sing and play the piccolo bass that sounds a bit like an electric guitar. I have a stereo setup so I bought a second GPA 100 unit and used both units with my PA system with two 100 watt 8ohm speakers and my Souncraft 12 ch mixer. I was very satisfied with the sound. It worked perfectly as a power amp for my PA system filling up the room with plenty of lows, mids, and highs. I played loud and full for about one and a half hour without any difference in sound. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it not only for guitar but also for bass or as a power amp for a small PA. Thank you Harley Benton for putting this product on the market. This amp has enough juice for most rehearsals, and perhaps even live gigs. I use it only for rehearsal so i don't have to lug around any speakers or amps. The sound is good, knobs all feel fine, and after a few hours, its not running hot. I use it behind a Headrush with custom IR specifically for poweramps + cabs. Thus far used on a marshal 4x12 cab and a fender twin (the speakers only ofcourse). I liked the setup so much that i ended up buying a second one, in case this one goes belly up someday.
The only "minus" i found is it was missing a rubber foot when it arrived. I added a similar rubber foot, problem solved. I didnt want to return it for such a minor cosmetic detail. All in all, great product!
