As my Shubb 6 string capos did not work well on my new acoustic 12 string Eastman AC 330 I looked for a 12 string capo.
After reading a number of reviews of different brands here on Thomann, I decided to go for this one, half expecting to have to send it back.
I use it sometimes at the 7th fret since my 12 string is tuned down 2 steps to D for better playability: it has a 012 - 053 set on it, which seems to be rare these days considering how few companies make these 012´s for 12 string. The jumbo Eastman handles them well though.
After a few tries, I found out how to quickly put it on correctly even in higher positions without any string buzz.
It feels smooth and solid.
Bonus: it works also on 6 string acoustics.
