this was a funny one, i ordered a bridge cover and dear old thomann had it stickered wrong, i was already wondering why it wouldn't fit.
ordered the sixties model bridge cover, wich looks way cooler anyway and then looked at the pick.
should I put a cover there? I know, lets see if this one fits, i'll tape it so I can see if I like how it plays as I ussually play over the pick. Fitted it in the bag and it seemed a good fit. Okay? ill take it out then, damn this fits like a charm.
Looks at bag, hmm says bridge on the sticker, looks at carboard closing strip which has the fender sticker on it... huh? Pickup cover! no wonder it fits like a glove.
so this now also sits on my PB 50 which looks amazing with the 60's bridge cover and this one. and it plays a charm as i play behind it and use it as a rest.
looses a star for a minor blemish in the chrome. but it'll get dinged anyway and it does make it look more vintage. Even though the PB 50 HB bass looks so brand new and shiny it reflects the TV into my room.
so if you ever decide to get the harley benton vintage P bass, get this with it and the bridge cover too. You'll be folowed by a horde of magpies for all the bling it has.
