I cannot explain how much i surprised when i tried this guitar first and I never wrote a review about any guitar that i had before but i have to say this guitar really needs attention.!
To be honest i was a bit skeptical at the beginning because of the body size but this guitar is killing it.
First of all as a comparison; i was using Martin LX1re which is a traveler size guitar but the unplugged sound was more than enough for me. But Highway Parlor is surprisingly louder and cleaner. I`ve changed the strings with 10" Elixir strings i personally feel way more compfy with 10 instead of 11 and it also gave it to the guitar a bit more open sound which i really like.
Second thing i LOVE about this guitar is ; it`s like a combination with electro guitar and an acoustic guitar. The neck is amazingly compfy for me but the body gives u the sound of an acoustic guitar. I am using 65% acoustic guitar and 35% electro guitar with my projects and this guitar is amazingly fitting to what i need.
Fred and body finishing are amazing.
Another thing is when im using it with strap (which im using in that way a lot) it has a great balance. Also EQ and Volume controls are pretty nice touch on the guitar, gives me the feeling of an electro-acoustic guitar but it is not an acoustasonic fender dont get confused.^^
Only downside is!: Battery box on the behind is a bit too big i guess cuz 9v Battery that I bought here (Berlin) was a bit too small so i had to stabilize it with a small piece of paper.
And thanks to thomann it got delivered almost in 1,5 day which is incredible.
This is my favorite guitar right now, I simply cannot stop playing it!
