Elixir Nanoweb Light-Heavy

I use these strings in D-Standard and Drop C tuning respectively, they are my go to strings for on the road because of the coating. This makes sure they can survive a few shows without needing to be replaced so you're not stuck changing strings every 2 shows and in the end it will safe you some cash as well. If you're not a gigging musician, just playing at home or in the studio and you don't break strings as much, when taken good care of these can last you up to 8 months, on the road I'd say change them every 5 shows or when the treble strings start colouring grey and/or black.

Pro's:
- Longlife span
- Decent Sound
- Will save you money in the long run
- The exposed tip makes restringing much more convenient

Cons:
- If you don't take good care of your instrument, they can start shedding, but that happens with coated strings in general so make sure you give them a quick wipe after every playsession.
- The coating does seem to dull the sound a tiny bit, but it's only barely noticeable when playing alone and not at all when playing live or in a studio mix.
