Perfect fit as always, but could have gotten a little more attention around the screen

Decksavers always struck me as a bit expensive for a bit of plastic until I got one for my MPC One. It fits perfectly, looks professional and it really makes a difference as to how much dust you find on the MPC. Especially the pads tend to attract some dust so it's also an upgrade for your fingers, because the pads simply will feel less dirty.

As for this specific model everything is fine and dandy, although in my opinion it could have gotten a bit more attention to the screen. In combination with the deck saver, the original screenprotector that comes with the MPC X doesn't fit. This is a shame if you ask me. It's only a small issue, but it would have been better in my opinion if it would have fit over the original AKAI screenprotector. Apart from that, this is a great way to protect your MPC. It gives me a reassuring feeling that I protect the MPC against dust and in my opinion you can't buy an MPC without a decksaver.

Just take in mind it's a decksaver, it will get some scratches on it if you dont handle it well enough.

This is exactly like the lid of a turntable, just without the hinges at the back.

It’s a perfect fit for the MPC and I wish they made them for legacy models like the 4000. It might seem like overkill but when you’re using a machine like this a lot live it’s just one more defence barrier against rendering your expensive sampler worthless. It should actually be bundled with the MPC as part of the package.
