Good, but not great

Though this is a cool-looking and decent guitar, I didn't really love it. The sound wasn't quite what I was hoping for. The bridge pick-up is fine, but a bit generic. The other positions didn't really have the character I was expecting, but it isn't that that they were bad sounds, mind you.
Beyond that, the neck is flat, but not quite the same as the old 80s Charvel neck that I played for a long time. A bit broader higher up the neck, I think. Some no-so-well-rounded fretedges. It arrived with the action set pretty high, but that can be adjusted.
Overall, it seemed fine for a mid-range guitar, but not quite as great as I was hoping. Then again, I may be a bit spoiled.

I owned two Charvel Superstrats with Floyds before this one, extremly different neck profiles. The first two were like normal Fender C shape and this one is like Ibanez Wizard neck profile which I don't like
Extremely good pickup combination and sound and 5 way superswitch for different sounds.
The body paint chipped on the first hour of playing on spots that are not on "playware" areas.
Really good neck joint, extremely good fret finishing, very bad nut filing.
Came totally covered in dust.
After a couple of days, the 5 way switch started acting up, the whole electronics are now messed up, I will be sending this guitar back and demand full refund.

Versatile, high quality, good QC and great playability. The sound is obviously subjective, but I quite like it, and the 5 way switch is really clever. You can use this guitar for almost anything, it looks classy and un-offensive, and it fits just as much in a wedding band as in a metal band. My new favorite guitar, and the smoothest feeling neck I have played. The perfect evolution of a strat, and it is on par with my US-made Fender.

Dealing with Thomann was great, no issues whatsoever. Great packaging and delivery. They responded politely and quickly to mails I sent them. I will be paying the store a visit soon, traveling all the way from Norway to see their amazing store.

A perfect AXE!

Excellent guitar! The matte finish is phenomenal, but it will wear as you play it through the months. The neck is fantastic and on the thin side. It has rounded edges on the fretboard, and the fretwork is absolute perfect. It needed intonation and an action adjustment.
I did not like the stock pickups, but that is a personal preference so, don't take my word for it. I replaced them with some Fishman Moderns, which makes the guitar a shredding machine.

Very happy with it!!
