Yamaha DFP9C Double Foot Pedal

used to play DW double pedal but transitioning to yamaha was the best choice for me. very durable smooth playing pedal, spring tension easy adjustable and various camo options to experiment with. The pedal looks nice and is machined very well. The long boards also support taller players who in most cases have larger feet and provide more space for diverse techniques for the feet like swivel, ancle and full leg motion. You also have and option for application of straps instead of the double chain. I like the straps more than the chain because it's a nice combi between direct and chain drive. Providing me with the flexibility i'm looking for. you won't go wrong on this pedal. Direct drive is for fast double bass playing but lacks the flexibility if you're more of a rock, funk, fusion, jazz drummer. beware of this, direct drive will tax your flexibility but increase sustain of speed. Straps is more for all-round playing.
