Vic Firth 7ADG Double Glaze

The 7A DOUBLEGLAZE is essentially the same drumstick as the 7A, but the addition of one more layer of lacquer makes it stiffer and - surprisingly for me, easier to grip even with sweaty hands. The sticks give the sensation of sticking to your hands, while the feel we all like about the 7A's remains the same. I've also found they last me longer than the classic hickory 7A's, which is what we're paying a higher price for, initially. In my drumstick set I always keep a pair or two of these, they are perfect for that warmed-up mid-gig moment or for long band rehearsals. Great product.
