Ideal replacement driver

I bought 2 of these to replace the time worn bass speakers in an old pair of 3 way PA speakers - 150w Realistic pro 1s from the 1990s. The old bass drivers were made by Peerless, but the foam surrounds had rotted. These replacement chassis fitted exactly into the cabinets even matching the fixing holes. They sound perfectly OK. In short they are an excellent generic replacement for medium power pressed steel chassis 12 inch speakers. I have absolutely no hesitation in giving these speakers unconditional recommendation. Another first rate and top value product from Thomann.
Pros: Industry standard size and mounting points. Ventilated voice coils. Relatively light weight. Inexpensive. Reasonable spl. Uncoloured sound.
Cons: None at this price point and specification. However bear in mind that these have a pressed steel chassis.

Using this one in an installation, that was on every day for multiple months and never had a problem.

Easy to install. Sound is fine for the price.

The Box Monitor replacement Speaker

Had a "The Box" MA120 Monitor that needed a replacement speaker - this one is a suitable replacement.
I wanted a low cost replacement speaker that was less than the cost of a new Monitor.
The mounting hole cut out had to be made slightly bigger as the back of the speaker is slightly larger than the old one.
Some of the fixing holes around the speaker edge are different so these had to be modified also but it was a quick and easy job (with the right tools - a drill and a jigsaw) and the speaker was back working in about half an hour.

Jälleen kerran laatu/hinta kohdallaan, tai jopa parempi. Asensin nämä hifikaiuttimiin, josta aika oli syönyt vanhat bassokaiuttimet rahiseviksi. Bassotoisto parani huomattavasti. Ja kukkaro köyhtyi paljon vähemmän kuin jos olisin ostanut juuri samanlaiset kuin entiset.
