Sommer Cable Mistral Multipair MCF12

Durch Lieferschwierigkeiten bei Belden musste ich auf Sommer Cable umschwenken.
Das Multicore ist gut was die Flexibilität und den Außendurchmesser anbelangt.
Für die Studioinstallation gut zu gebrauchen. Allerdings schrumpfen die Isolierungen der Innenmäntel sehr stark beim Verlöten und die Leitung hat einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch. Da war Belden wirklich um Längen voraus.

Is used in a recording studio environment, as a support for other box (with other 12 channels on there). Requirements for audio are quite demanding in this situation, and they really don´t degrade your signal. That are the best point. In the other hand, they are extremely sensitive to the high temperature of solder. The plastic welds too easily. The person ho has been making the box is a guitar pedal manufacturer, so is not new in soldering and knows a little about that. We both arrived at the same conclusion. Have lots of patience, buy good tin and soldering kit, and good look!

j'ai commandé quelques mètres de ce câble pour aller avec un boitier de scène 8+4 de chez neutrik. A part le diamètre du multipaire qui est un peu trop important pour le boitier (quelques millimètres en trop, il suffit de gratter un peu la gaine), le câble a l'air solide et est facile à manipuler.
le câble sera connecté à la table (et à tout le reste) avec des Neutrik NP2 X-B. très bon produit aussi
je testerai bientôt mon montage et corrigerai mon avis si j'ai des soucis.

Super Kabel. Wer was günstigeres nimmt, spart an der falschen Stelle. Wer was teureres kauft, gibt mehr aus, als nötig.

Kupoval jsem za účelem výměny stávajícího multipárového kabelu od Adam Hall. V porovnání s ním je tento kabel podstatně kvalitnější, jádro pevnější a plášť působí velmi odolně. Při prvním živém zvučení mi na kabel několikrát šlápli, dokonce byl přes hranu pódia přimáčknut boxem, ale kromě šmouhy na plášti se k mému překvapení nestalo nic. Uvidíme, jak se osvědčí v průběhu času. Obecně jsem ale s produkty Sommer Cable velice spokojen. I levnější kabely vydrží poměrně dost.
