Lollar P-90 Dogear Short NE BK

Purchased this pickup to replace the stock neck pickup of a MiK Epiphone Casino together with more standard bridge pickup (tall dogear). This is one of the few pickups that is low enough to be fitted on a Casino. The sound is quite different from the stock pickup as intended, being less overwound than the very dark and midrange-heavy stock Casino pickups. The Lollars are more balanced with more high end. It will need spacers to be installed, which are also available from Thomann at the time of writing. The style (glossy black plastic) is rather different than the chrome stocks so take this into consideration. Overall a good replacement if it fits the budget.
