Korg microKORG 2 MBK

I received the MicroKorg2 in good timing and have really enjoyed getting to know it. It is my second synth as I have an old Korg Triton, which is why I opted for the new MIcroKorg 2. It is really intuitive to operate, full of some great sounds and gives enough control to change the sounds to my personal preferences. I am not totally sold on the Vocoder, its is ok, but not something I bought it for. I love the colour display, good functioning Knobs and buttons. The Keyboard is small, but once you get used to it, it just works really well. I was a bit disappointed that one of the Keys sits lower than the rest, perhaps a default and I thought about returning it for this reason, but it is only cosmetic and does not effect the performance. So I will continue to put this one through its paces and see if I can live with it, perhaps a bit of character.
Over all a good experience and I highly recommend this synth for someone looking for a first keyboard to explore. With the lightweight portability and battery powered option it adds to any busking rig with ease.
