IK Multimedia iRig BlueBoard

This little foot controller is a cool thing to have. I use it with my ipad air 2 to scroll my lyrics using the onesong app, or guitar tabs using the guitar tabs HD app. Also with a roland EV5 together with Positive Grids BIAS FX as a more traditional pedalboard.
The iRig Blueboard app is easy to understand and if you have a little experience with MIDI it is awesome to have a small wireless "all in one" guitar setup on your ipad. I use an iRig pro as an interface.
The quality is ok, but not everyday on the road sturdiness, all plastic parts and soft non metal buttons.
I had to update to the latest firmware and that was very simple to do so too.
My final thoughts are that this was a good purchase and very handy to have!

Ordered the Irig Blueboard to use it primarily as a pageturner with the GuitarTapp ChordPro app on an Ipad mini 2.
Device feels solid and is well finished.
To pair it with the Ipad you need the Blueboard app. Pairing is a piece of cake with the Blueboard app.
Then tried to pair the Blueboard with the GuitarTapp Chordpro but in vain. Tried everything but no success. Even after updating the firmware of the Irig Blueboard it doesn't. Pairing with other apps like Amplitube, JamUp Pro XT, Garageband is trouble free and assigning buttons is quite easy.
But pairing with the GuitarTapp ChordPro app doesn't work for a bit. After some research I found out that the Blueboard uses the so-called Bluetooth LE technology. So you need a third party app, in this case the Blueboard app, to pair it with the Ipad.
Unfortunately the GuitarTapp ChordPro app doesn't support this.
So finally I decided to send the Blueboard back because it doesn't work with the app I mainly want to use it for.
A pity really because the device itself is quite a good product with potential.
