Tried to fit this Harley Benton pickguard on my Harley Benton Stratocaster guitar kit to replace the stock Harley Benton pickguard that came with it and well... it doesn't fit. At all.
The potmeter holes had additional smaller holes to the sides and a little pin on the bottom of the actual potmeter so they can only go in one way. These were non-existent on this pickguard. No biggie, I drilled them myself but it didn't earn the product any points.
I then switched all the hardware over, put the potmeters in, screwed the 5-way switch and the pickups back on, pulled the grounding wire through the body and laid the pickguard on top for screwing down, only to find out that out of 11 (!!) screwholes only a single ONE lined up, some were even 2cm away from where they were supposed to be.
Additionally, even with the pickguard moved forwards as much as it could (with the neck pick-up touching the wood of the body), the cut-out for the bridge was too small and simply did not fit.
Very disappointed with this, what a waste of a tenner (plus ?5 for new strings) and an hour's worth of work. Save yourself the money.
