Well... since 1982 ( Yes im that old ) I've been playing an Ibanez blazer series custom made in Japan in 1981 according to the serial number at the back and almost 40 Years later one of the tunning pegs startet to fail.
The originals and the gotohs are almost the same, only little small details (shape of the mounting plate and the pegs ) are different but there NO NEED for modifications on the bass, just remove the old parts and the new GB10 4L will fit perfect. I hope they will last another 40 years!
The product have a Superb quality.

I needed light keys for a light body bass. Unfortunately the super-light alloy GBR640 did not fit.
These keys weight just 9.5g more than the GBR (each key) and still retain that nice vintage look.
result: 100% satisfied!

PS. be aware that they fit smaller holes than Fender or Fender-like headstock (15 instead of 17.5 mm), so be prepared to use a good wood filler and to re-drill the properly size holes in the headstock.
