Golden Age Audio Premier PRE-73

Although my Focusrite interface has decent pre-amps I decided to give the Pre-73 a try, based on reviews here.
I've had it for three years now and it changed my home studio results in a very positive way.

First of all; it gets the best out of any microphone. I have this strange ribbon mic that I could never use, with the Pre-73 it changed into a very capable one. I use it to to record guitar-amps with great success with this mic.

Secondly; vocals, guitar, bass and drums and drum machines, they just all sound that bit fuller and more vibrant. On synths I hear its effect less.

And it's easy to use, very straightforward. As it's based on a Neve design it also boast an Air function [much as my Focusrite] that is really useful.
