Soundpost setter violin GEWA

Does what it must do. I used it to set my soundpost once when fallen. Has a very sharp tip which fits perfectly into the soundposts ''cut'' and the ''leather'' or more a sort of plastic keeps you from damaging the side of your violin when operating. The setter is made from a steel material wich is very durable. Looking at the price versus quality combination I would recommend every violinst having one in their possesion for when your soundpost falls and your luthier is far away. Overall a good quality product.

This is certainly a handy tool and during lockdown, it helped me greatly after my sound post fell and no music stores were open.
The only thing that could be improved on is the thick plastic coating around it. I understand that it has the coating to protect the instrument, but if your F holes are narrow, this can make it a bit more tricky to use (but not impossible).

The star side had too Sharp edges that can scratch, I had to file them. Tha soundpost holder had to be resharped as well, it was too thick resulting in a too wide opening in the soundpost
