I've been using the Rumble 40 for one and a half years now, mostly at home....I'm still very happy with it. It has got plenty of warm and clear low-end, perfect mids and clear high-ends (that's why I chose it over the Rumble 100). I hardly use the overdrive option, but it works really well. I also use it as a 'power amp' for my guitar, by connecting a guitar pre-amp pedal to the aux-in (to by-pass the Rumble's built-in bass pre-amp). That works surprisingly well too (although 40 watts of guitar sound is quite LOUD). To my opinion, the only down-side of this amazing, versatile and affordable amp is: there's no effects loop.
