Fender AM Vintage Tuners Staggered

The tuners theirselves are superb, the staggered heights take care of any false angle of the strings over the nut. I did not even need a string retainer on my headstock so these staggered tuners do their magic . The patina on the nickel plated tuners looks real vintage and the vertical string inserts prevent you from cutting your fingers on sharp guitar string ends sticking out.

However, my Made in Japan set did not come with the right ferrules.
Very peculiar if I may say so, the ferrules inside diameters were too small and obviously were not checked by the Japanese Fender Quality Control.

I had to order a set of Göldo adapters at Thomann’s to fit the tuners properly.

No big deal, these adapter ferrules now give the headstock a more mature look and also better tuning stability.

If you are interested buying one of these sets please check the set right away for fitting ferrules after receiving delivery.
