Dunlop Primetone Jazz III Grip 1,40

Ben sinds jaar en dag fan van Jazz III.
Had eerst altijd de rode. Daarna overgestapt op de groene Kirk Hammet versie, gewoon omdat ze zo mooi groen zijn niet perse omdat ze door de inkeping ietsje meer grip hebben. Toen ik zag wat deze moesten kosten dacht ik "dat moet ik proberen" en ik moet zeggen, inderdaad, ze zijn wel echt heel mooi. Ze voelen wat stroever dan de gewone jazz III maar toch wat gladder dan de gele ultex versie en de tip is erg mooi (asymetrisch) afgewerkt.

Van de ene kant natuurlijk belachelijk wat zon stom stukje plastic moet kosten, van de andere kant; waarom een paar euro besparen op plectra als je zoveel aan gitaren / versterkers uitgeeft.

When I opened the box I was sceptical, these picks looked just like my jazz 3 picks after a week or 3 of playing. After a little while you start to hear that these picks are more than just played in J3's, I'm not sure if it's the material used or the "hand sculpted edge". but these pics can be very subtle. They're a nice mix of the jazztone pick's string-release and the featherweight no-mass to the table jazz 3's.
They sit right in between these 2 picks as a nice hybrid of them, Jazz 3's have more snap to the attack due to the edge, and the jazztones just have more weight to them,
All in definitely a pick you should try if you're into picking dynamics or just really subtle pick-attack.
