Cordial Kabel

Kabels van goede kwaliteit, men zegt niet geschikt voor
actieve luidsprekers maar mijn ervaring zegt dat ze
uitstekend werken. Zolang me mij niet in details kan zeggen
waarom deze kabels niet geschikt voor actieve boxen gebruik ik ze gewoon voor mijn actieve luidsprekers. Graag zoiets beter
omschrijven op de site.

Very good for active speakers

Having two full range speakers and sub, all active, I had to find the right cables, but I didn't want a normal microphone cable, being all I've owned and seen kind of weak looking.

So I asked a couple of fellow musicians, and some suggested these.
But as I looked it on the thomann website it said it was to be used only as a passive speaker cable.
Since a friend of mine as been using them for a while, decided to try anyway.

After buying them, and testing them on my two tops using a normal Klotz microphone cable with Neutrik plugs, I can't say I noticed any difference (not that I expected any).

So what I can say is that this does the normal cable job, but it looks much more resistant, which is exactly what I was looking for.

There are multiple comments in here that state those cables are okay with active speakers, despite the fact description says otherwise. So I bought 2. My intentions were to hook a mixer to 2 LD Maui speakers (active). It does not work. Then I wrote to Cordial to ask for details on a speaker that can be used with those. They simply said “those are for passive speakers”. Now the logical question is - where do you find a passive speaker connecting on XLRs?!? That are all using speakons….
